ACS International was founded in 2005 and is an international school. The Yinghua School Group has formed a large family of six schools (Yinghua Primary School, Yinghua Independent Middle School, Yinghua Buck Road, Yinghua International, Yinghua Elementary School, and Yinghua Middle School) and over ten thousand students. 1. Diversified student composition

ACS International (ACSI) offers courses from high school to high school. At present, the school has students from more than 30 countries or regions around the world, and it is also a Singaporean style international school, with half of them coming from local students.

The school strives to achieve a balance between the proportion of local and foreign students, in order to better promote a multicultural learning environment and all-round development.

2. Colorful extracurricular activities

ACS International's extracurricular and academic activities complement each other, placing great emphasis on combining various activities with the interests of students. ACS International is also quite strong in terms of teaching staff, with the majority of local teachers in Singapore directly equipped by the Singapore Ministry of Education, ensuring the teaching quality of Yinghua International. Overall, 65% of teachers are locally trained and 35% are specially hired from other countries.

Course settings

ACS International offers Cambridge International Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) programs.

1. Middle School Department (Y1 to Y4):

The school adopts the IGCSE curriculum system from Cambridge, UK. The main focus of the 7th and 8th grade courses is on teaching basic academic courses. The school adopts a holistic approach, which not only develops academic knowledge, but also character and emotional intelligence, laying the skills and knowledge foundation for the IGCSE courses in 9th and 10th grades.

2. High School (Y5 to Y6):

The school has adopted the IBDP curriculum system. Students will select 6 subjects from the six categories and complete corresponding assessments, while also completing three core subjects, namely CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service), TOK (Theory of Knowledge), and EE (Extended Essay).

3. PRE-IB Preparatory Class

This course is a one-year preparatory course that provides necessary knowledge, skills, and thinking to enable students to confidently pursue the IBDP courses in 11th and 12th grade.

4. Mother tongue courses

The school provides mother tongue courses in Chinese, Malay, Tamil, French, Spanish, and Japanese.
