Raffles Girls' High School
Raffles Girls' School was founded in 1879 and has now become a beacon of excellence in education, attracting the best and brightest talents from Singapore and around the world.
In RGS, every girl can establish unlimited possibilities to fulfill her aspirations. In addition to their outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements, RGS girls have the ability to discover their own unique ways to change their communities and reflect the school's motto, Filiae Melioris Aevi - Daughter of a Better Era.
The colors of the school emblem are the standard colors of Stanford Raffles House: green, white, and black. This open book symbolizes the torch of knowledge and combustion, and we are committed to shaping character and developing life skills.
The motto of the school is Filiae Melioris Aevi, printed on the emblem and in Latin, meaning "daughter of a better era". Our commitment to the community is that girls who use the RGS portal will not simply inherit good traditions, but will actively create a better future for their community.
Vision: Aspiring, striving, and daring to become an active creator of a better era for all humanity.
Mission: To cultivate highly capable girls to become leaders and showcase their talents in serving the country and community.
